9 Ways to Maximize 2019

With 2019 upon you already, it’s time to commit to and focus on creating your best self this year!

Here are 9 ways to maximize your health and mindset this year…

  1. Clarify your direction and philosophy

Plain and simple, if you don’t know where you’re coming from and where you currently are, it’s impossible to plan where you want to get to. Get clear on where you want to be at the end of 2019 and beyond, as well as what your personal philosophies are toward important items in your life like health and wellness, family, money, relationships, faith, and values.

  1. Focus on you

It’s not selfish – it’s necessary. If you don’t take care of yourself, you’re eventually going to burn out and won’t be able to give more of yourself to others. Take care of yourself physically and mentally.

  1. Take time to think

Make a point each day to think, even if it’s for only a couple minutes. Maybe it’s in the morning before everyone is up and going. Maybe it’s over your lunch. Or maybe it’s at the end of the day when you head to bed. Whenever it works best for you, think about what is going well in your life, where you can make improvements and what you can do to increase your happiness and success.

  1. Get organized and take time to plan

Lack of organization and failing to plan breeds clutter, physically and mentally. Take time to get your life organized and thoughts written down. From there, prioritize what needs to be done.

  1. Real commitments are backed by money and time

People want to make commitments and set goals all the time, but until you get serious about them, they’re merely a wish. Hold yourself big-time accountable by committing money and time to them. Where you put your energy, focus, time and money, results shall follow.

  1. Optimize your environment

Start by surrounding yourself with more of what you do want for 2019. Whether it’s healthier food, driven people or positivity, spend more time around it. Watch it, read it, hear it and put energy toward it. As you focus more on what you do want, those items in your life you can do without will slowly fall to the wayside.

  1. Focus on small, daily wins

Goals have to be broken into very small pieces. Work toward successful daily habits and behaviors that will create small wins over time. Those small wins accumulate to huge successes and larger wins over time.

  1. Set SMART goals with a plan and blueprint

Be efficient at goal setting by developing SMART goals for the year – Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely. Once you have your goals set, strategize that exact plan of behaviors and habits that will get you to those goals.

  1. Have a mentor or coach

Don’t be too proud to ask for help or feel like you have to figure it out on your own. Learn from somebody that’s been there and does it already. Behind every great success story is a coach or coaches that helped get them there.

I’m excited for some huge changes of my own regarding my business and direction I’m going this year, as well as some health and fitness goals I have also.

Again, I want to thank you for helping me make my 2018 a fantastic year!

Make 2019 your best year yet!
